Cassie's 6th Grade Graduation

Today Cassie graduated from the 6th grade. She received a number of awards, but the one that surprised me the most was the Science award that she received. She has done well in all her science projects and really enjoys doing science projects.

On Monday, as part of our FHE activity we chose some chicks to replenish the coop that we have. The chicks are getting big now. We got six chicks, three are Black Langshan, one is a red sex links, one is a
Ameraucana and the last is a Sussex. They all are starting to root on the edge of the box we keep them in.

I'm still working away at getting the wood cleaned up from the fallen trees. If we had an industrial strength chipper the job would be much faster. This week the weather has been cool, which has been a blessing as there were fears of rivers flooding at the beginning of the week.
