I'm a believer! This video is uplifting! I see the thoughts shared as truth and guidance for all today. We all know disaster happens, disasters are accelerating around the world, this video was a nice reminder I encourage you to watch it. It is a well done video.

Phishing Scam - Stimulus Payment Online Form

I received this email that looks a lot like it could have come from the IRS.

"After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that
you are eligible to receive a Stimulus Payment.
Please submit the Stimulus Payment Online Form in order to process it.

A Stimulus Payment can be delayed for a variety of reasons.
For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.

To submit your Stimulus Payment form, please download the document attached to your email.


Note: If filing or preparation fees were deducted from your 2008 Refund or you
received a refund anticipation loan, you will be receiving a check instead of a
direct deposit.

If it looks unbelievable or doesn't seem right it probably isn't. Do not complete online forms for looking for information. Be very leary as the economic crisis continues. Come What May and Love It

I gave the EQ lesson on Sunday on Elder Wirthlin's talk, "Come What May and Love It", I realize now that it was really me that needed this lesson. Last night my niece was over from BYU and she needed to do some musical theory teaching for a class she is taking. We ate dinner together and then went to the living room to record the lesson. It had to be with at least four children, well I recorded the event on my daughter's Flip camcorder. The instruction went well, I downloaded the video to one of my computers and found after I got everything setup in Nero that the DVD/CD burner drive was kaputt on the machine with Nero. So I went to our new machine which was purchased for the family for Christmas and that DVD/CD burner was kaputt too. Oh, my niece needs to have the teaching session on a DVD. So, I will be replacing two drives, I'll get the DVD burnt but I needed to heed the words of the talk better than I did last night. I kept asking myself outloud what are my children doing on these computers. Was anyone around when this happened? Of course someone was, my children. :D

One of the DVD drives had a Reader Rabbit disk in it and it exploded. (See the picture above!) I'd seen this happen one other time. I got all the fragments out of the disc drive but the laser that reads the discs is shot. Now I have a funny thought about this experience, perhaps there was a mission impossible type question and it was not accepted. :D

The other computer's DVD drive was stuck in the open position when I went over to use it. I was able to get the drive to close eventually and now I can get the drive to open but closing it requires extra force. If there is a disc in the drive then it takes even more time and more force. I'm worried that once I get it closed with a disc in it, it will refuse to open again period. I'm replacing this DVD drive as well.

The Guacamole Song (with Recipe)

I love this song! I'm not a real big fan of guacamole dip though. On occasion I will eat it. I think the inclusion of the kids in the song was cute.

Ok I said I'd get the other music video from the brothers Scott and Jordan. I think you'll enjoy this video as well. This video got a lot of laughs when we saw it in a recent work mtg.

This music video was written, recorded, filmed and edited in one day to add to a project that my friend's daughter had to do based on the Netherlands for her 9th grade class. Written and performed by Scott and Jordan Dastrup.

I think my friends sons are entertaining to listen to.

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.

“If you have the time” I said.

God smiled. “My time is eternity.”

Wolf Moon Tonight

Tonight we will get the opportunity to see the Wolf Moon. Which means it will look like the biggest and brightest ones of the year 2009.

• Full Wolf Moon - January Amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Thus, the name for January's full Moon. Sometimes it was also referred to as the Old Moon, or the Moon After Yule. Some called it the Full Snow Moon, but most tribes applied that name to the next Moon. (According to the Farmers Almanac)

It will appear about 14 percent bigger in our sky and 30 percent brighter than some other full moons during 2009, according to NASA.
